About The Photographer
My name is Lynda Graveline and I am the face behind L Graveline Photography. Photography started as a passion for me in high school and turned into a career shortly after graduating from the Photography program at Algonquin College in 2011. After dabbling in a few different kinds of photography I decided to specialize in pet portrait and commercial photography. I truly love capturing the bond between animals and their owners and capturing each individual personality. I have a lifetime of experience with all kinds of animals having been immersed in the world of pets since I was a child. I cannot imagine a better way to honour them than to photograph their souls.
Having a photographer that specializes in pets means that we see the little things that make your photo special. The look in their eyes when they are 'on', that face they make that you fall in love with, and their cute little features that make your smile. It's not enough for me to get a well-shot photo, I want you to be able to feel your pet's soul through the image so that you can look back on it and smile for years to come.
Dogs:
I live and breathe dogs and currently have two male Border Collies named Nikon, and Spectre and a female Australian Cattle Dog mix named Bentley (see photo above). We compete in agility, obedience, and dock diving and dabble around in scent work, lure coursing, and pulling sports. I also enjoy teaching Agility in the summer as well.
Cats:
I currently own two cats named Kirby and Kittumus Maxmus. I have a lifetime of experience with cats and love both purebred and rescues. I pride myself on being able to read cat behaviour and make them feel comfortable enough for photo shoots whether it is natural lighting or studio set-ups. While I do love dogs, I was a cat person first and can't imagine my life without them.
Horses:
I have been riding and training horses since I was a child and currently own a TB x gelding named Detroit and a Welsh/Arab pony mare named Kharra. While dogs have mostly taken over my life, I do still enjoy spending time at the barn and riding a few times a month in the summer on my days off.
I also love birds, small animals, reptiles, and just about anything that moves.
